Professional Experience
Along with being the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Temple Rose Holding Company Inc., Michael is also the President of The BNIC Network LLC (the holding company’s primary operating company), as well as being the President of Help Keep My Money LLC, a Black-owned business management consulting business located in Southern California, where he provides business consulting services to government agencies, startups, nonprofits, and real estate investors. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Loyola Marymount University, where he was the school’s first recipient of the Wall Street Journal’s Award for Excellence in Economics. His focus at LMU was in econometrics, as he was trained to be an actuary and develop forecasting systems. He has more than 25 years of experience in developing and managing complex operational and financial systems. His experience includes four years as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)/Deputy Director of Finance and Administration for Santa Barbara County’s Mental Health Department, where he developed from the ground up and managed a $106 million annual budget, while overseeing multiple divisions including Finance and Accounting, IT, Quality Assurance, Medical Records, Facilities, Safety, Risk Management, and Administration.
Real Estate Experience
Michael was an active real estate investor from 1997 – 2005.
His accomplishments include:
– He was paid $15,000 to buy his first house in 1997.
– He developed the Pre-Construction Flip System (The PCFS) and used it to turn $10,000 into $25,000 in 4 months (450% annualized ROI), $15,000 into $50,000 in 6 months (467% annualized ROI) and $7,000 into $182,000 in 18 months (1,733% annualized ROI),
– He is also the developer of the Real Estate Deal Management System (The REDMS), a proprietary risk management system for managing and shifting risk while using leverage to create double digit returns on investment per deal.
